Mature technology and good compatibility: the technology of TOPCOn is relatively mature and compatible. Eight of the 12 processes are exactly the same as PERC. In the three new processes, the designed operation, process window and parameter settings are the same as the original.
The PERC approximation is very high.
The investment in workshop is low: TOPCon equipment invests 200 million yuan / GW, while HJT needs to achieve 3-350 million yuan / GW at present.
Good mass production: TOPCon operators and process equipment can be seamlessly connected directly from the original workshop of PERC, without the need for additional training and skill upgrading.
High efficiency: at present, TOPCon is more efficient than HJT, 0.4pct, and it is expected that the efficiency gap may widen by 2023.
No battery decay: TOPCon does not decay either on the battery end or on the assembly, but the efficiency of HJT decreases gradually due to the use of cryogenic gel
